Issue #1
Well hello there. đź‘‹
I’m Karl. I founded Motimation. You probably discovered me on Facebook, Instagram, or my Youtube Channel .
I founded Motimation with the belief that self-development can be learned quicker and easier than ever.
You don’t have to study 100 books or buy a $5,000 course in order to better yourself.
No. Life’s too busy and expensive as it is.
It’s the smaller things done right. Done consistently.
I know—finding practical resources that actually work is time-consuming. But don’t worry, I will do it for you. For free.
After all, that’s probably why you signed up to this newsletter in the first place, right?
Right!
So, welcome. It’s honestly great to have you. Thank you for being part of my journey. đź’™
Welcome to the first edition of the Motimation Monday newsletter. Yes—that’s right—my very first newsletter!
Every Monday I will send you a motivational newsletter to get you in the right frame of mind—to start your week the right way.
To be honest, I never thought I’d be starting my very own newsletter. I never intended on becoming a writer.
I just really want to help you better yourself. I guess writing needs to be a huge part of it—so here we are!
I hope I can provide as much value to you as I intend to.
Anyway—with the grand introduction out of the way—let’s move on to this week’s topic.
Good habits.
They help form the foundation of a healthy and successful life.
I’m not talking about waking up at 4:00 am and doing 10,000 push-ups. None of that new-age, airy-fairy, fake entrepreneur BS.
I’m talking about real, practical habits that actually work.
So, without further ado, let’s get started.
Here are my top 7 habits to improve your life:
1
Get organized. Good organizational skills are essential for leading a productive and successful life. Create a daily to-do-list and prioritize your tasks based on importance. Keep everything organized. It will help you stay focused and stop you from getting distracted.
2
Establish good sleep habits. Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for leading a healthy and enjoyable life. Avoid caffeine, nicotine and alcohol before bed. Create a comfortable environment for sleeping. Do this and watch your quality of sleep improve.
3
Eat healthy. Eating healthy is one of the best things you can do for your overall health and well-being. Eat a balanced diet rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. They will provide the proper nutrients and energy you need. Stay away from processed, unhealthy foods. They do nothing to serve you.
4
Exercise regularly. Exercise can have a tremendous impact on improving your overall physical and mental health. Regular exercise can help keep your body strong, regulate your hormones, improve your mood and reduce stress. Aim to do some type of physical activity for at least 30 minutes a day for optimal benefits.
5
Practice mindfulness. Mindfulness involves being present in the present moment, without judgment of how things are. It will help reduce stress, anxiety, and rumination, and increase self-acceptance, self-awareness, and happiness. Practice yoga, meditation, and deep breathing to bring yourself to the present moment.
6
Make time for yourself. Making time for yourself can help improve your life in so many ways. Take time out for yourself. Allow yourself to rest and recharge, practice self-care, and gain clarity in your life. Quality “me” time can help boost creativity and productivity and will give you space to focus on the things that make you happy.
7
Practice gratitude. Practicing gratitude helps you appreciate the things you have and see the good in life. Be more thankful for the smaller things. It will increase your feeling of joy, happiness, and contentment. Start each day by listing three things you are thankful for and focus on the blessings.
There it is.
Unsexy, right? Well, that’s all success really is—small, simple things done right.
So, now it’s your turn.
Pick one of the habits above and make a change today.
I mean it. Just pick one thing. Try something out.
You can start walking toward a happier and healthier you, right now.
Remember, every single action counts. No matter how small it seems.
Keep at it. You will see a difference, I promise.
Before I say goodbye and sign off for this week, I have a quick question:
What is the #1 habit you struggle with the most?
Just hit reply. I’ll do my best to answer you.
After all, your email will help me improve Motimation and better help you.
Thanks again for joining. I’m excited to see what the future holds for us.
Until next week!
